Since its founding, BlaBlaCar has leveraged technology to build a trusted, people-powered transport network that connects more places with fewer emissions.
This year’s report highlights strong progress toward BlaBlaCar’s 2030 carbon targets and key social impact priorities. It also introduces the company’s first Double Materiality Assessment, in preparation for the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

With 74% of trips made by users under 30 and thousands of remote towns now connected, the platform remains a crucial solution for affordable, inclusive mobility — particularly for youth and rural communities.

Looking ahead
With its 2030 carbon targets already met for Scopes 1 and 2, the company is now focused on scaling multimodal travel and continuing the transition to biofuels across the BlaBlaCar Bus network, improving accessibility. It is also implementing its CSRD-aligned ESG roadmap to stay ahead of the curve.
