Let’s meet Gianlupo from Italy, our BlaBlaStar of the month. A BlaBlaStar is a member of the community who has caught our eye because of his/her exciting job, interesting hobbies or for just being generally awesome. So for Gianlupo, it was his magic wand that impressed us.
Ciao BlaBlaStar! Can you tell us about yourself?
I was born in Santo Domingo, and I spent the first three years of my life plunged into the magic and mysterious atmosphere of the Caribbean Island. After that, I moved to Milan. When I was 10, I started studying magic more seriously. And two years later, I was on stage as the youngest magician performing in an international show.
After my graduation, I finally chose illusion as my profession. And naturally, every time I tell people what I do, I have to perform a magic trick. But it’s OK, I’m getting used to it!
How did you hear about BlaBlaCar?
I knew of BlaBlaCar a few years ago thanks to word of mouth. Now I use it for leisure and business trips — not only in Italy, but also abroad.
What are your plans for the future?
My dream is to have my own show in Italy and abroad. For the moment, I usually participate in important events and TV shows but performing solo as the main star is my dream.
What do you like more about BlaBlaCar?
I love travelling with other people, meeting different ridesharers and sharing our experiences and future projects.
What has been your best BlaBlaCar experience?
Every trip is special since I meet such interesting people. Usually everyone has something interesting to tell about his or her own life and time really flies!
